Mtbxpert organizes an eight-day mountain bike race in the region of the prefectures of Ioannina, Trikala, Karditsa, Evritania, Fokida and Fthiotida from 7 June 2015 until 14 June 2015 under the name Bike Odyssey.
LOCATION
The start point will be the village Laista of municipality Zagori and crosses the mountain range of Pindos finishing in the city Amfiklia of municipality Amfiklia-Elatia.
CATEGORIES - PARTICIPATIONS
The race is team (teams of two) and open to all (adult) ages provided they know mountain biking / road cycling and have very good physicalcondition. There will be the following categories:
- Men
- Mixed
- Women
- Master Men
-Senior Masters
The maximum number of participations is a total of 100 teams per category at Mtb race.
A category is formed only if a number of 6 teams are registered. If a category is not formed, is incorporated into thenextlower age category.
REGISTRATION & COSTS
All participants are required to complete the application form and statutory declaration.

ROUTE
The route has a total length of 600 km., 25,000 elevation gains and passes through 57 villages in mountainous Greece crossing the Pindos Mountains. There are few sections covered with asphalt, several paths while the largest proportion of the race route is covered by soil.
The race consists of seven stages and a prologue and has eight villages-stations. The prologue is a circuit race and has as start and finish thesquare of the first village-station. At next stages the race starts from the square of one village-station and ends to the square of the next village-station.
AWARDS
Awards will be given to the first 6 teams in each and in first six teams in overall classification at each stage. The first team in the overall classification will win the champion team jersey (blue color). The awards will take place immediately after the end of the race.

Saturday 07/06/2015:

• 15.00 pm: Pasta Party
