Two fairytale villages. Stone houses with their tile roofs protruding among firs. Picturesque alleys to be explored, cozy cafes, traditional restaurants and green scenery. Builded at the hillsides of Koziakas Mountain, these two villages host every winter a lot of visitors, who want to enjoy the snowy landscape, when whole villages are covered with thick snow and you can only see the fir crowns. Skiers (between the two villages there is the ski center of Pertouli), outdoorsy and people who like serenity choose Elati and Pertouli, as well as the surrounding villages of the area. The rest seasons of the year, when the stone yards are full of flowers, are suitable for climbing in the neighboring massifs, climbing in Kokkinos Vrachos and hiking in the woods, while in the lawns of Pertouli, where in the summer the big cultural event of “The meeting of Sarakatsani” takes place, you can enjoy horse riding and archery. The touristic development of the villages is remarkable, since they can offer to the visitors beautiful guesthouses and traditional restaurants.
