It is one of the few areas that functions as a port, but also provides a sense of euphoria and opportunities for relaxing entertainment at the exact same spot. Essentially, at a distance of four kilometers from Marpissa, you will not find any meadows, but instead the picturesque, sandy beach of the area and you will enjoy your drink on the relaxing sun beds. Then, you will browse through the port, where you can tie your boat, if you have one, but also embark on a trip boat for islands like Antiparos, Naxos, Ios, Santorini, Amorgos, Delos, Mykonos, and Koufonisia. If the magical atmosphere at Piso Livadi has captured you, don’t miss the opportunity to taste the traditional dishes in one of the seaside small tavernas (small traditional Greek restaurants), where during festive days the traditional songs and dances are routine.
