Traveling 19km southwest of the capital, you will meet a semi-alpine village-a village built mostly by stone as the dominant architectural feature- that lies in a valley maintaining its traditional color. The places of interest in the area are the residence of the Ecumenical Patriarch Konstantinos V Voliadis and the temple of Agios Dimitrios. After Vessa, the road leads to Elata village and the Temple of Agia Triada (the Holy Trinity).
