Granite eroded by moisture and air (natural phenomenon) turning it into a landscape reminiscent of another planet or another time. Kind of like the Stone Age might say. Very beautiful and very unique landscape! Somewhere between the granite blocks has been built a whitewashed village with narrow streets, bougainvillea and flowers. The village is famous for the art of basketry, with the visitor having the opportunity to see the craftsmen knit. We, for example, cleaned wicker rods, the basic material together with the reed in the manufacture of baskets, taking part in the process. From Volax start and cross wonderful trails to Agapi and Falatado and the surrounding villages. The taverns serve fourtalia, local sausages and other local recipes.
