What kind of people might have built these sculptures of futuristic style? The world-famous statuettes of the Cycladic civilization of 2800 BC are displayed in the show cases on the first floor in the Museum of Cycladic Art and evoke the admiration of thousands of visitors from all over the world. In this particularly meticulous museum is housed the private collection of Cycladic and Ancient Greek Art of Nikolas and AikateriniGoulandris. Several objects from the Early Cycladic civilization, the ancient Greek and Cypriot art dated from the 4th millennium BC till the 6th century AD are displayed in the first three floors, while on the fourth floor are presented scenes of the everyday life in antiquity. This floor is particularly enjoyable for the young visitors, who can benefit from the tour programme organized by the museum.
