Access
From Piraeus with high speed and conventional ferries (3.5-4 hours with speedboats 11 hours with conventional ships). Their frequency varies depending on the season. The island also has connections with other Cycladic islands (Milos, Santorini, Anafi, Sikinos, Syros, Paros, Naxos), Dodecanese islands and Crete with routes varying according to the season.
The nearest airport is that of Santorini.

Useful information
- There are local buses which connect the port of Karavostasi with Hora and Ano Meria. There are always buses waiting when the boats arrive. In the island you will also find taxis.
- There is an ATM machine under the Community Office
- Boats connecting to the southern beaches leave from Karavostassis and Agali. There are also boat tours around the island.
