Access

By boat: Fourni port is connected with Piraeus port three times a week, while it is also connected with the ports of Ikaria and Samos. From Piraeus the journey takes about ten hours. However you can go to Samos or Ikaria and from there reach Fourni in one hour.

By plane: There isn’t an airport on the island. However you can go to Ikaria’s airport that is almost daily connected with Athens airport and from Ikaria take a boat to Fourni and you’ll reach your destination in one hour.

Local transportations
The island is so small that has no local means of transport so in order to explore it you must have your own mean or on foot. The road network despite its size is quite good for your transportations.
