24 April & Easter Monday: The festival of Agios Georgios, in the namesake village.
15 August: Feast in honor of the Virgin Mary in the church of the Virgin Mary in the village of Panagia.
28 August: One of the most famous celebrations in Irakleia, its distinctly devout atmosphere honoring St. John the Baptist. Believers carry his icon from the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary to the Cave of St. John, where a further religious ceremony is held. Following this service, a great festival takes place. Not to be missed if you are in the area.
8 November: Feast in honor of the Holy Archangels, in the chapel of the Archangels.
9 November: Festival in honor of St. Nektarios, in the old chapel in the village of Panagia.
