Agia Pelagia is located opposite the Peloponnese. It is the harbor of Potamos, and one of the main ports of the island. Also named ‘place of tears of joy and sorrow,’ as it has been the departing and arriving place of the immigrating Tsirigotes (Kytherians). From the small beach, partly pebble and partly sand, you can observe the comings and goings of ships and boats. The beautiful beaches in the area attract many visitors, so you will be satisfied with the touristic amenities available. Agia Pelagia is an ideal place for a family vacation.
