The museum, which consists of two exhibition halls, is located in Chora. In the first, one can admire collections of the prehistoric and classical periods; in the second, more recent findings, mainly from the Venetian period. There are also uncategorized findings from other periods, such as the Minoan. The museum is open daily, and admission is free.
