The Charamoglios Library was created by Aristotle Haramogli and operates in the city of Lefkada, near Marka Square since 1991. The library includes 30,000 titles of books with works of 810 Lefkadians and other material of Lefkadian themes. The oldest of these dates back to 1420. This Spiritual Monument, among other distinctions, was awarded by the Academy of Athens in 1987 and was recorded in the Guinness Book of 1994 as the world's largest library of exclusive subjects.
On the ground floor of the library is the "Theodoros Stamos" Art Gallery, which often hosts photo exhibitions and other cultural events!
