Cow Festival: In the village of Krania the honor of the cow is an institution. This festival takes place every July in the village square. The village club prepares delicious cow dishes and the party includes traditional and folk music and dance.

International Festival of Traditional Dances: In 2001 a one day local dance festival started in Preveza and today it has become an international festival with participation of foreign dance groups. Events take place in Preveza and Kanalaki usually in July with more and more success every year.

River of Souls Festival: Festivals with great surroundings at river banks are quite famous these days and the prefecture has one of its own since 2010. A rock stage is set up in Acherodas banks with old groups, as well as young local artists.

Choral Festival of Preveza: This festival is more than 30 years old. Every July the city is full of songs, traditional, Greek modern and foreign, since this festival is international and participate groups and choruses from other countries, while music performances take place in historical sites of the city. The international competition of religious music that takes place every year is also an important part of this festival.

Preveza Jazz Festival: Jazz music celebrates in Preveza since 2003 every June. Every year this festival comes back fresh with more and more participations of groups from other countries too. In this festival also local organizations and groups with great success participate every year.
