A settlement at the northern part of Sifnos, an area chosen by ancient potters to create their workshops. Today, only one pottery workshop is maintained, but, if you are observant, you will be able to distinguish some of the old furnaces. There was so much activity that it is said that the greenery of the area was sacrificed to the altar of pottery. Herronisos is located in the heart of a sheltered bay, and is charming with its scenic beauty, the fishing boats that are reflected on the pale waters, the fine sand, and the small tavernas (small restaurants that serve traditional Greek cuisine) by the sea.
