The picturesque settlement of Kamares welcomes visitors to the right of the bay, where the only port of Sifnos is located. It is a settlement with white houses which offers many possibilities for accommodations, restaurants and cafés by the sea. Kamares receives many visitors due to its large beach with the fine, golden sand, which has been awarded a Blue Flag. At the opposite side of the bay, the small settlement of Agia Marina is located, with the small church with the same name, restaurants and cafés. They are two settlements that seem to be a natural progression of each other.
