Early June: On the eve of Agiou Pnevmatos (Holy Spirit), volunteers approach the towers and citadels of the island and revive the system of communication with fire signals like the ones that were used in order to warn of raids by pirates.
Early August: "Gryparia'', a festival honoring the Sifnian poet Yianni Grypari. Two Saturdays in August are organized literature evenings with readings of poems and literature texts accompanied by local Sifnian treats. The "Gryparia" take place at the offices of the newspaper "Sifnos", next to the church of Taxiarchi.
Early September: Three-day festival of Cycladic cuisine "Nicholas Tselementes" in Artemona, with presentations of traditional recipes, exhibitions, reproduction of pottery workshops, a traditional wedding of Sifnos, dancing and more.
