In Kamares, where the port of the island is also located, lies the beach of Agia Marina (about 1,500 meters long), which took its name from the beautiful little church that stands at its edge. It is characterized by fine sand, tamarisks, and shallow, crystal clear, turquoise waters. Access is very easy, since the beach begins at the edge of the central road of the settlement, which is full of cafés, tavernas, and small shops, as well as rooms to let and tourism offices.
