By boat: Skopelos is accessible from the port of Agios Konstantinos and Volos harbor by ferry or speedboats that first reach Skiathos, then some stop at Loutraki in Skopelos, and they all finally reach the main port of Skopelos. Apart from Skiathos, Skopelos also has daily connections with the neighboring Alonissos and Kymi a few times a week during the summer months. The frequency of service varies depending on the season.

By plane: Skopelos has no airport but you can easily go to the neighboring Skiathos airport and then by ferry, high speed or local boats to reach Skopelos. The airport of Skiathos is connected with Athens, depending on the season, and with Salonica, but also accepts charter flights from many European cities.

Local transportation

You will find local buses with routes to all major parts of the island and its beaches, as well as taxis. Some beaches are also accessible by boats operating cruises from the port of Skopelos. On the island you will also find rental agencies for cars or motorbikes.
Marinas: If you are visiting Skopelos by boat, you can anchor at the main port of Skopelos Loutraki and at Elios, where you'll refuel or find anything else you that you may need.
