In the prefecture of Xanthi there are many hiking trails which are marked. Whichever route you choose, the beauty of nature will accompany you. There are difficult and easy hiking trails  depending on the mood and experience.
An interesting route is the route Komnina-Toxotes. In this route you can enjoy the majestic course of Nestos and the flora and fauna of the place.
A beautiful path is also the one from the village to the waterfall Livaditis. Throughout this journey, if you do not know already, nothing reveals that somewhere nearby is the largest waterfall in the Balkans. A path with green, easy downhill and relatively easy ascent.
Αnother easy hiking trail for those who love hiking but are not very trained for it, is the route from Railway Station of Kromnis to Galani. Nestos is once again the protagonist.
