By boat: The central port of Aegina is connected to the port of Piraeus with frequent daily ferry routes that last 1 hour 15 minutes. You also have the option of flying dolphins that will get you to the island in just 35 minutes. There are also ferry routes to Souvala and, during the summer period, Agia Marina. Aegina is also connected to the other Saronikos islands.

Domestic transportation

To move around Aegina you can use the public buses, with frequent routes that will get you to main villages and places of interest on the island. As the distances are not that great some beaches can be reached by boat, by foot or have a pleasant ride through the pine trees by bike. Information about the routes can be found:
