The deserted monastery of Kalamiotissa is located on the highest peak of the island (460 meters). This is a domed single-aisled church with a wooden iconostasis of the 19th century. The church is surrounded by a few cells and a small tank of water. The journey to the monastery, its location and the view is breathtaking.
