A cave which in spite of its speleological and archaeological interest remains largely unexplored. It is one of the largest caves in Greece with stalagmites and stalactites. Beyond that, however, it is of great importance because of the countless ancient names engraved on the walls dating from the 4th BC century. (Nikagoras, Themistocles, Cleon, Nice, Pythagoras, Lysicrates, Eunomia, Aeschylus, Amfisthenis etc.). Roman cisterns, fragments of broken clay artifacts, broken pottery as well as human bones have also been found in the cave. One can get to the cave either by following the stone steps or by boat from Karavostasi.
