A large church compared with those of the Small Cyclades, distinguished by its tall bell tower. Its construction took 11 years. Next to the church, one can visit the old chapel that in 1930, after the completion of the new temple, was re-dedicated to Saint Nektarios. One on August 15 and one on November 21, two festivals are organized in the area to honor Virgin Mary, that, apart from the religious ceremonies, include traditional food, wine and dancing to Aegean island rhythms.
