Access
By boat: As an island near the borders it has access problems, since the itineraries are not so often. The connection with Piraeus port is available every fifteen days. You can also travel to Rhodes port, that has a more frequent connection and from there take a boat to Kastelorizo and reach your destination in about five hours.
By plane: Although the island is small it has also a small airport that is connected with this of Rhodes which is connected with lots of Greek and international airports. The airport is located just outside the capital and you can take a taxi or a bus for your transportation.
Local transportations
Because of the small size of the island, you don’t have to own a mean. You can access the beaches by boat, while there is also a taxi in the capital of the island.
