The museum is housed in the 18^th century mansion of Emmanuel Brothers. Visitors get to know the culture of Kastoria through the costumes and jewelry of the locals. The elaborate costumes prove the social stratification and the local lifestyle, as well as the commercial connection between Kastoria, Europe and the rest of the world.
