The church of Agios Grigorios is located in Nea Karvali, 8 km away from Kavala. This exquisite church attracts thousands of visitors who come every year for the celebration of the Saint in order to pray and to honor him. The church houses the relic of Agios Grigorios which was brought from the old Cappadocian Karvali to the new town of Nea Karvali, when refugees moved to the country.
The church is accessible by car or by coach from Kavala to Chrysoupoli or Xanthi and it stops in Nea Karvali.
