The Vrachakia tis Panagias beach is an alternative solution to those wishing to explore something out of the ordinary options. It is located at the old town, as you go up to the Castle of Kavala, so it is really easy to go by foot. It seems as if the beach is endless. Its emerald green water offers a unique feeling of relaxation. The water is pretty deep and the rocks that surround the beach are steep. There is no sand and the rocks are huge and imposing, thus the name of the sea which means the “little rocks of Virgin Mary”. It is ideal for swimming as well as for a walk with your friends.
