Walking east from Chora, following the coastal path for 10 minutes or so, you will encounter the beaches of  Foinikas and Charokopou. Both are long beaches with golden sand and exotic blue waters. Following is the beach Fanou ,and after that Platia Punta (wide point), also known as la Italiana, one of the most famous beaches in Ano Koufonissi,  due to its exquisite beauty. From the Italiana and up to the beach at Pori, in the northeastern part of the island, there is a bunch of small beaches and cavy bays to explore. Halfway, enjoy a dive in the ‘pool,’ taking its name due to nature’s good mood, a unique natural pool in the rocky environment was created for your enjoyment. Then you arrive to Pori, a beach with golden sand, lying in the lap of the homonymous bay. It’s worth the trek not only for the beach that is your destination, but also for the hike along the beautiful path taking you there.
