From Hotel Katafigi we go East to the church of Ag. Nektarios and from there to the tank and characteristic iconostasis where which at the left the path E4 starts. We are entering a thinly wooded area of pine, freely moving on the slope, we reach the ridge and walk in the forest road. We go on the road 10 to 15 meters to the left and enter opposite, a wide path and reach again a forest road that we follow to the right to reach a valley with meadows at "Katsarathka". To the southeast we see the refuge of SEO Kozanis which is our destination. Continue East, "cutting" through the meadow until the tap up on the road, follow the road south for 200-300 meters and turn left entering the slope where we continue on the path to South direction, through the forest and arrive at the refuge of SEO Kozanis. Beautiful refuge at in a dominant position. The hall is open permanently and is ideal place for accommodation. From the refuge continue on the slope, at first with South direction, we pass the "Pyrgos (Tower)" of the peak 2130m, go down for a while and we reach a road. We follow it for about 700 meters and arrive at the foot of the peak where the easy climb (top Flampouro 2191m). From the top we see: East - South East "Avdela", "Toufa Karagiorgi", "Five Towers (Pente Pyrgi)" and the Thermaikos Bay. Low distinguished Ritini, Olympus and its northern slopes. South-Southwest the plain of Elassona, the Kamvounia, Bourinos, the plain of Kozani and Aliakmonas river, and at the back the Tymfi, Vasilitsa, Smolikas. North-Northwest ahead of us the "Drosos" and "Skotino", Vermio, and in the background the Voras - Kaimaktsalan, Varnountas, Vitsi, the Siniatsikos.
