Access

By car: In the southern part of Peloponisos, you will find the prefecture of Lakonia. It is 225 kilometers away from Athens (about 3 hours by car) and 630 kilometers away from Thessaloniki. Its distance from Tripoli and Kalamata is 60 kilometers, while Patra is 230 kilometers away. The road network is still new and in a very good condition and as a result it will not hinder your journey.

By bus: The Lakonia buses can take you comfortably to lots of areas inside and outside the prefecture as there are lots of itineraries towards Athens, Kalamata, Tripoli, Patra and other big cities.

By boat: In the southern part of the prefecture there are two small ports, the port of Githio and the port of Neapoli. The first one is connected with Kithira, Antikithira and Crete.
