Access

By boat: Piraeus is connected with the Dodecanese and the journey to Leros takes about nine to ten hours. You should have a look at the schedule since the connection in not daily. Leros is also connected with the ports of neighbouring islands, such as of Kalymnos, Rhodes, Patmos, Kos and Lipsi, but the itineraries are more often during the summer.

By plane: Leros airport is located at the north part of the island and is directly connected with Athens airport with a forty to fifty minutes flight. There is also the possibility of small airplanes to land. You can also land to Kos airport and from there take a speed boat and reach Leros. Your transportation from and to the airport is by your own vehicle or taxi, since there are no buses available.

Local transportations

There are buses connecting main villages and some beaches, however the itineraries are not so often.

Marinas: If you are traveling by your own a boat, Leros has a well organised marina that can host you and provide you with everything needed for your stay and your travel too.
