Fisherman's night: In Agria, about 7 km southeast of Volos, in the last week of July (there is no definite date) there is the ‘fisherman’s night’, which lasts two days and fish is being served with wine and music played by local groups. Your participation requires a small contribution.
Traditional Trikeriotikos Wedding: In Trikeri, on 1st May the traditiona wedding event takes place.
Flower festival: In Alli Meria, on the 1st of May,there is the Flower festival.
Sausage festival: In Stagiates, the Sausage festival at the end of July.
Almiros Pazari: 23rd-30th August in Almiros for its famous Pazari (annual big open market)!
Filipidia: During the summer months the ‘Filipidia’ are held, in Milies. They are festivities organised by the Municipality in cooperation with the Cultural Association Grigorios Konstantas and they include exhibitions, concerts, plays, etc.
Folklore event: ‘Experience the tradition of Pelion’, at the end of June.
September: The International Festival of Classical Music and Business Panorama, an annual exhibition of the production of the Municipality of Magnisia, takes place in September.
