Access

By boat: Paros has daily connections to Piraeus with closed type ferries approaching the port of Parikia in 4 hours. Access during the summer months is also possible with high speed ferries such as hydrofoil or catamaran, reaching Paros in three hours from Piraeus or from the port of Rafina.
Paros has also frequent connection to most of the Cyclades (Naxos, Tinos, Mykonos, Santorini, Sifnos, Milos, etc.) and Crete (Heraklion).

By plane: You may also reach Paros by air, since there are frequent flights lasting 45 minutes from Eleftherios Venizelos (Athens). The frequency of service will vary of course depending on the season.

Local transportation

There are buses in Paros connecting several places on the island. Itineraries vary according to season and passenger traffic. During summer they are quite frequent, with additional evening buses during August on the route Parikia – Naoussa. Buses facilitate your transportation to the busiest or the quiet beaches, small villages, or wherever you want to visit. Arriving in Parikia you will find the bus station (KTEL) on the right, a few meters down from the mill at the harbor.
If you prefer traveling by boat, there are routes that will be unforgettable. From the port of Parikia you can reach the beaches of Krios, Marcello, and Kaminia within 10 minutes, while another route is from the port to Delfini beach. Moreover, starting from the port of Naoussa, you can access the beautiful waters of Kolymbithres and Monastery beaches by boat.

Marinas: The main marinas on the island are Naoussa and Parikia but if needed there is availability to Piso Livadi, which is used as a fishing lodge.
