Since the era of the Knights and way before that, the area of Kallithea with the thermal red waters, which are gushing from the rocks, has become a place of attraction for locals as well as the residents of the neighboring islands. Therefore, the systematic analysis of its waters began and in 1928 the construction of large facilities was decided, which were taken as a paradigm of mode. The facilities have retained their brilliance until now, with its main point the majestic Rotonda. Moreover, there is a well-organized beach (open to the public 09: 00-17: 00) with a seabed of extreme natural beauty, where one can go diving. The history of the center is presented in the photography exhibition that operates on its premises.
