The Synagogue Shalom is the only operating synagogue in Rhodes and is now used only during major celebrations. Its name in Hebrew is Kahal Kadosh Shalom. Moreover, it was built in 1577 and the form of the interior follows the traditional style, i.e. the Sephardic style, while the Sacred Altar of Prayer is located in the center of the sanctuary.
