At the westernmost point of Santorini is the lighthouse. Constructed in 1892 with a 10-meter-high tower, the point where it is built offers a unique view of the caldera, and many visitors choose this place to enjoy the sunset. In the evening, despite the light of the lighthouse, thousands of stars are visible in the sky. The Indian figure on the Mavro Vouno (Black Mountain) is also visible from this point (nature has sculpted the rock, creating the figure of an Indian).
