Access
By boat: The island has ferry connection with Piraeus either with regular ferry (four and a half hours) or with high speed (two and a half hours). From Serifos you can easily go by boat to Sifnos, Milos, Kimolos, Ios, Amorgos, Anafi, Syros, Naxos, Santorini and other islands of the Cyclades, while you can even go to Crete if you change ship in Milos. The frequency of service varies depending on the season.
By plane: The island has no airport with the nearest being those of Paros, Milos and of course Athens. On the island but there is a heliport serves visitors and emergency cases.
Domestic transportation
For moving around the island there are local buses with frequent service between the settlements and taxis. It is also possible to rent a car or motorbike, and there is always the choice of hiking.
Marinas: If you are visiting Serifos by boat, Livadi is one of the best options, since it is protected from the winds. There you can refuel and find suplies. Depending on the weather and mood, you can of course moor in other bays.
