A long beach for all tastes, just 3 km. from the town of Tinos. The beach is mostly sandy, but there are also parts with pebbles. The beach of Kionia is busy, due to the many rental apartments that exist in the village, however its size is able to accommodate bathers looking for an organized beach with sun beds, umbrellas and water sports, but also swimmers who want tranquility. The first part of the beach that we meet, while coming from the town of Tinos, has tamarisks for shade, while the latter consists of thin, golden sand in which you should arrange for shade. The area offers many restaurants and shops to buy what you need. You can combine swimming at Kionia with a visit at the Temple of Poseidon.
