In the northwestern part of the island is the coastal settlement Malli with its beach. To get there you must take the road to Marla and then head to Koumelas, Malli. The route is asphalt initially and then a passable dirt road. You will meet the impressive marble mines with cuts on the mountain, indicating the colors of the marble of the region. Huge marble cubes form a spectacular landscape. Quiet beach with pebbles, sand and natural shade from tamarisks, while at the background white houses with blue windows.
