It was built with the form it has today, in 1835. It is a three-aisled basilica with a narthex and women’s quarters. All the artefacts are donations. What draws the attention is the lack of murals in the inner sanctuary, where you only see the Altar and an icon of the Crucifix, work of Fotis Kontoglu. It is worth admiring the Sleeping Efthalia in the churchyard. According to the inscription it was dedicated by her husband, and the statue was made after she passed away due to cholera.
