Xigkia is a picturesque cove with a sandy beach and cool clean waters, about 23 km to the northeast of Zakynthos. Although, there is a strong smell of brimstone coming out of the caves next to the beach, swimming here, apart from being enjoyable, is also healing. On the beach you will find a few sunbeds and a taverna.
