Access
By boat: Andros is located very close to mainland Greece, so it has a daily connection with Rafina port and the journey to the central island port, Gavrio, lasts about 2 hours. During the summer months there are up to six itineraries available from Rafina to Andros. The island is also connected with Syros, Tinos and Mykonos.
Local transportations
Andros is quite big, so you can also use public transportation, although the itineraries are not so often. So it would be better if you owned a mean, in order to explore better the island beauties. The road network is quite good.
