Stavros - Chapel of the Panagia

A short hike that starts from the beach Pera Panta and climbs up the hill behind the village of Stavros. In return for your efforts, the route offers you panoramic views of the sea and the neighboring islands of Amorgos, Koufonissia,  Irakleia,  and Keros. Follow the trail in the afternoon and enjoy the amazing sunset colors.

Other routes

Other hiking trails are those of Stavros-Mesaria (4.5 km); Mesaria-Mersini (1.5 km), Mersin-Livadi beach (20 minutes approx); Mesaria-Vathy Limenari beach. For the bold, there is a trail that will lead you on top of Mount Papa.
