The museum is dedicated to Nikos Kazantzakis, one of the most famous Greek writers; a man who made his mark in Greek literature with a sharpness of intellect and daring of soul. In the museum the visitor can admire manuscripts and notes by the author; letters that he exchanged with great thinkers, politicians and writers of his era, the first editions of his works in Greek and in translation, rare photographs, memorabilia from his travels, personal items; set models, costumes and material from theatrical plays, portraits and sculptures and dozens of foreign editions of his works.
Visiting hours: Summer: Daily 9:00-17:00, Winter: Every Sunday 10:00-15:00.
