Located in the southeastern of the prefecture is the beautiful beach of Sidonia, or Mesa Psari as it’s known by the locals. It is a long beach, with coarse gray sand and calm waters. Sections of the beach are organized, with umbrellas sun beds and water sports, but there are less crowded sections also. Nearby one can find restaurants and cafes, but the area, generally speaking, is modest as far as touristic development goes. If you're lucky you might find yourself participating in one of the hugely successful beach parties organized by the cultural association of the area.
