The ‘prinodasos’ (holm-oak forest) is located on Vromonerou plateau on the Psiloritis range, at an altitude of 1300m; since it is not well is known to the public, it has managed  to retain its wild beauty intact. To get there you have to go through the gorge of Halasia along a lush green path. In the forest you will have the opportunity to visit some ‘mitata’ i.e. small stone houses, where shepherds in the mountains live and produce cheese.
