The Embellishing Female Association of Andritsena founded the Folkloric Museum of Andritsena in 1981, in an effort to preserve and highlight the folklore of the area. The museum is housed in the stone built mansion of Kanellopoulos. The particularly rich material of the museum includes more than 4.000 exhibits, covering the period 1832-1932. It is worth mentioning that the material originates only from Andritsena, since its inhabitants donated to the museum all the valuable items they had from their ancestors. In its premises are hosted all the items presenting the folklore and indicating the vitality and nobility of the area.
The way of life in a traditional urban house in the late 19th and the early 20th century in Andritsaina is displayed on the first floor of the mansion. In the rest halls of the mansion, you will see an impressive collection of local costumes in excellent condition, paintings, rare documents dated from the 18th century and rich photographic material.
