Karaiskakeia: It is the oldest international festival that is organized in Karditsa Prefecture at the end of June. It’s a real cultural event with participants from all over the world. Visitors have the chance to attend musical and dance performances, exhibitions, as well as sport events and seminars.

Kazarma Music Festival: Although it started in 2012, this festival tries to promote young artists with talent in singing. More and more participate in this festival that is organized in Plastira Lake for a week and every year it’s dedicated to some important artist.

Mesenikolas Wine Festival: It is one of the most famous festivals in the prefecture. It is organized in the middle of August in order to promote the local wine and give prizes to the best one. It’s a three-day event with music, dance and of course wine.

Generally, especially during summer a lot of cultural events are organized inside the prefecture. These events are either cultural with misic, theater, exhibitions and sport events or feasts in honor of some Saint.
