Access
By boat: Kasos is another small island with access problems. That means that the boat from Piraeus port makes a lot of stops until you reach your destination and the journey takes about 15 to 22 hours. However, the island is also connected with the ports of Rhodes, Karpathos and Sitia and during the summer months the connection is more frequent.
By plane: Despite the fact that the access by boat is not so satisfying and the journey takes a lot of hours, there is a small airport that connects Kasos with the airports of Rhodes, Karpathos and Sitia with half to one hour flights. You can use your own mean or take a taxi from the airport to the island capital, Fri.
Local transportations
The road network of the island is quite good and connects all the villages. There is also public transportation available, but the itineraries are not so often.
