Access

By car: The prefecture of Larisa is located in the center of Greece in the plain of Thessaly. It is 355 kilometers (3 hours) away from Athens and 155 kilometers far from Thessaloniki (1 and a half hours). At a much shorter distance (60 kilometers) you will find the cities of Volos, Karditsa and Trikala. In order to get there you will use the National Road from Athens to Thessaloniki.

By bus: Your journey by bus will be as comfortable as the one by car. The Larisa buses have itineraries to and from Athens, Thessaloniki, other large cities and of course areas inside the prefecture. For your transportation inside the city of Larisa there is also public transportation.
